Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR)

An EICR is a vital part of maintaining electrical safety and efficiency for landlords, tenants, and property developers.

This comprehensive inspection serves several key purposes:

  • Detects potential electrical faults before they lead to downtime, damage, or injury
  • Ensures compliance with current safety regulations and legal standards
  • Minimises the risk of electrical fires, electric shocks, and other hazards
  • Offers reassurance to property owners, tenants, and occupants
  • Supports insurance and legal safety obligations for commercial properties

Failing to carry out regular electrical inspections can result in serious consequences, including legal action, business interruption, and compromised safety.

Routine EICRs help ensure a secure, compliant, and reliable electrical system for any property.

Customer Feedback

Testimonial

I recently used Manchester Compliance to prepare an EICR for a rental property and undertake remedial work. The service provided by Liam was professional and to a high standard. He subsequently returned promptly to resolve an issue that arose following the work (no fault of his). I will use Manchester Compliance in future and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Julia Statham Landlord

We had a home electrical safety check done, then follow up work. Communication was very prompt and clear. The appointment time was kept well and estimated work time also correct. Prices were very similar to other quotes and parts prices matched what I saw online. The engineer quietly worked away, did the work well and explained clearly what I needed to know.

How Long Does it Take to carry out an EICR ?

Our Team of Engineers work in a team of two therefore an EICR electrical test usually takes us in the region of up to 2 hours.

We carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) by inspecting, testing, and assessing the safety of electrical installations in line with NICEIC standards and regulations.

Our Dream is to build a company customers can rely on, tell there colleagues, there friends about, but most of all be happy with the service they have received.

An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) assesses the safety of an electrical installation against the current BS7671 Wiring Regulations, highlighting any deviations — in short, it’s the electrical MOT of a building.

All our work comes with a 12-month warranty, backed by the 6-year NICEIC Platinum Promise — giving you full peace of mind that your electrical installation is protected long after the job’s done.
